  • 1) First go to All Necessary Forms and go to Register ID.

    2) You will receive an email from our team to do an interview for further explanations, rules/regulations, and student verification.

    3) After being verified you will receive your EPC ID Number. You will use this to register time to your EPC time account. You can buy time or subscription by looking at the pricing in the Buy Interview Time and Membership tab and then pay through this link: https://revolut.me/marxitz0v .

    Submit the receipt to the appropriate form under All Necessary Forms. Your balance can be seen under All Necessary Forms.

    4) Go to the Interview a Real Patient tab and schedule an interview. You will be sent an email confirming your date and time with a real patient, along with a link (to use to join the meeting). Remember to review the interview guide from the Interview Guide Tab to make sure you know the steps to interviewing. Good luck!

    5) After the interview ends go to All Necessary Forms and submit the appropriate form if you want to give feedback/get feedback/submit a write up for the patient interview. You can go to Interview Guide to learn how to write it.

  • Yes. We welcome you with open arms. However, instead of interviewing real patients, you will be interviewing an upper year medical student or actor who will play the part of a patient. Often this can be a more guided experience because they can guide you right after the interview as well as during. In addition, you can ask them questions to help you with your journey to become a doctor. But you will still need to register an ID, be verified, buy interview time or membership, and then schedule an interview. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

    Note this link is set to Japanese Yen. $1 = 150 Yen (JPY). And Don’t Forget to Write Your Name and EPC ID# on the note section when paying.

    Please keep receipt pdfs or jpeg/png screenshot records. You will have to submit that to have the time added to your EPC Time Account. Click on the Schedule a Patient Interview Tab and submit the form. You will be sent an email confirmation after the submission within 24hrs. You can check your time balance in the All Necessary Forms tab as well, it will update as well upon receiving your payment.

  • If you choose to have it timed, it will be. It is good to do the patient interview with time if you know how to do the interview and you just want more practice.

  • Yes because the purpose of this is to provide you real life practical experience with conducing a patient interview with conciousness of time constrains of the clinical environment. The key is to develop efficiency by practicing to ask the focused questions pertaining to the patient within the time constraints.

  • We are currently working on it. But the guide will do a sufficient job. For more help you can schedule a Mock Interview where mock patient can guide you better in how to conduct the interview.

  • Under All Necessary Forms there is a form for complaints. Feel free to explain your concerns. It is not necessary to include your identity unless it is a person specific concern. The form does not automatically collect emails.

  • You are NOT allowed to tell your diagnosis to a patient on this platform (see Interview Guide tab for info). On a mock interview you can express your differential diagnosis but NOT to an interview with a real patient. Also, if you do the write-up, a list of a differential diagnoses is a must.

  • You are NOT ALLOWED to give medical advice as it is NOT LEGAL before becoming a licensed doctor. However you can make general remarks about common health topics. Just make sure you don’t tell anyone anything to take any medications/drugs. You are not legally authorized to prescribe any treatment.
